The Big Idea

Join us for a global youth design thinking hackathon to activate teens and young adults and create solutions for a better world.

Know what Hackaton is!

A hackathon is a sprint-like event where participants collaborate in teams to address challenges and develop innovative solutions. Unlike traditional hackathons, the ATTF Design Hackathon places emphasis on creativity and problem-solving skills, rather than requiring extensive coding expertise. We encourage participants to leverage design thinking and critical thinking principles to tackle the challenge at hand.

Why Design Thinking?

Design Thinking is a creatively structured approach that helps individuals or teams identify real problems and ultimately solve them. It’s essential in a hackathon because it enables rapid idea generation and ensures teams focus on solving the right problems.

Who Can Participate?

The Hackathon is open to young adults aged 15-24, whether you’re a secondary student, undergraduate, graduate, or seasoned Hackathon enthusiast. You’ll have the opportunity to learn new technologies, collaborate with peers, and build something cool.

How Does It Work?

During the Hackathon, teams will have approximately 5-6 hours to apply design thinking principles to address a specific challenge. Whether you’re a problem-solving pro or new to the concept, our supportive environment ensures everyone can participate and contribute.

Problem-Oriented Approach

Our Hackathon focuses on problem-oriented challenges, providing participants with specific problem statements to address. In this context you will be given an option of two Case Studies to choose from, with unique problem statement to explore.

What is Case Study?

Case Studies are real-world problems or scenarios that you’ll tackle during our Hackathon event.
They’re your launchpad for creativity and innovation!
